Regarding Gene Bond:

I know he went downhill fast after the passing of his wife Janice, but I 
guess some credit has to go to him for his various activities in the 
amateur radio community.  After-all, he was an active member of GCARC 
(program director, I think) for quite awhile, plus he was ARRL section 
manager (I think that was his title).  Not to mention he was a member of 
the ARRL A-1 Operators Club.

Sorry, but I just wanted to inject some good things about him amongst 
all this negativity.  This is how I will remember him; not what has 
happened in recent times.
