[GCARC] THIS SUNDAY 10: AM SITE WORK PARTY

To all members:  W2FJM Frank who lives in Westville will be heading up the
painting party this Sunday. 

It's time to do some painting, especially the ceiling. I will purchase the
paint and supplies on Saturday. I need more volunteers !!! The same people
are showing up all the time and they are getting worn out.

So: lets get-er-done!! Come on out Sunday and participate. If we get enough
people it won't take long. Of course, besides the painting there is always
other items to be accomplished. We could use some 2 by 4's for the VHF room
wall,  anybody have some they might want to donate?.. Come-on-let's get
together and complete this part of the project so we can start
Hamming-it-up. For those of you that don't have a full blown station at home
this is going to be a great help to you. I will also be bringing my trailer
with me so we can load it up with all the trash that has to go to the dump.

It's going to be cold outside so dress appropriately if you are going to
help load the trash into the trailer. Coffee etc. will be supplied.  Most of
the burglar alarm equipment has been purchased. Everything is really moving
Along. I want to thank everybody that participated while I was on vacation
under the tutelage of Bill Price NJ2S, he is doing a great job getting
things accomplished with me, but now I'm back and it's time for me to
Crack-the-whip.  

          So let's go guys, I will see you there Sunday at 10 AM. If you
have any rags etc., bring them..

KB2M Jeff, has donated a 12 VDC power supply for the site, I donated a 2
meter 220 & 440 combination ground plane

antenna which Bill Price picked up today and will install soon. There will
be a FM radio so when anyone is at the 

site they should turn it on and put the call out on the repeater that they
are at the site. 

When everything is finished being installed we will have a few meetings out
there to show everyone how to use
