[GCARC] please fix inaccuracies in your data in GCARC database

Dear GCARC club members,
it's a new year! Got a new email address, phone number, address, license
upgrade?
It's time to check and correct any inaccuracies in your entry in our GCARC
database!

It has come to my attention that there are some entries in our club's
database spreadsheet that needed updating. For example, several of you
still show as "TECH PLUS" as license class. The FCC does not agree. I need
your help in getting any inaccuracies fixed, please.

MOST importantly, make sure your EMAIL is updated properly.
We will be relying more and more on electronic communication here in 2014,
and having correct email, and an email address that is associated with an
email account that you actually check often, is important.  For example,
the distribution list for this email, our Crosstalk, and any late breaking
need for an emergency club meeting or change in any previously scheduled
club activity will likely be communicated via email in 2014.

If you find any items in your entry that need update (e.g. callsign, email
address, mailing address, license class, arrl membership status), please
inform our database chairman, Ken Newman, promptly via email to
N2CQ at Comcast.net so we can get it updated as soon as possible. Look for
Ken's emailing on 12/31/13 for the latest version of the distributed
spreadsheet for you to comment on.  You do not have to email Ken if the
entry is fully correct (only email Ken with corrections, please).

The next update to the database spreadsheet, inclusive of your corrections
and any new member additions, is intended to be sent out about one week
from now, after the board of director's meet on Jan 17.
