[GCARC] Clubhouse update

While Ray w2rm, our clubhouse replacement chairman, is out of town until
later this month, Bill nj2s has stepped in and wants the general membership
to know that work can continue in Ray's absence.
If you are a self-directed club member who might have some time off on your
own, or in small groups, and are motivated to work items on the "punch
list", Bill said he can provide such informal work parties with tasks to do
(and instructions on how to unlock and then re-secure the trailer when
done).

As examples, some items from Bill's 50+ item "punch list" are shown below.
Please coordinate with Bill to avoid duplication of your planned effort.
In preparation for floor treatment:
- Scrape off old carpeting from floor
- Install conduit for antenna cabling to the clubhouse, hf and vhf areas
(to keep mice out)
- Install electric outlet covers, after outlet cut-out in paneling, inside
the clubhouse
- Cut out small blocks and install drop ceiling patch, Patch and paint
ceiling holes
- Move all old construction materials to shed
- Move donated file cabinets and such out of the way prior to floor
leveling & crack fill cement applicatation
- Thorough floor clean, shop vac
- when ready, apply floor leveling / crack fill cement compound, smooth and
dry
