Just a quick note to advise that we'll need club volunteers to help setup
Saturday early evening at the 4H fairgrounds in Mullica Hill at ~ 6 pm for
Sunday's hamfest. We'll need volunteers to help Bill Price, NJ2S and others
to mark off tailgate spaces, arrange benches in the pavilions and perform
other tasks that arise.

Joining us will be Frank, KC2SJ from our club who like last year will have
his Troop 9 scouts set up the food concession for the next morning. Frank
and the scouts will sleep overnight on the grounds.

As always, Gene, N2IMK from the club will be providing security overnight
at the site.

We'll then need volunteers from our club Sunday early am and through out
the morning to help with ticket sales at the gate (See Wayne, WA2LET &
Chuck, WA2TML), directing vehicles (See Al, KB2AYU) to the parking areas,
including handicap, directing tailgaters, vendor coordination within the
pavilions. After the hamfest we'll need volunteers to help put benches
back, provide clean up, etc.

Tom, KC2THO will be on the 2 meter radio giving instructions to arriving
vehicles and will then handle announcements over the PA system, including
announcing door prize winners.

If anyone has items they might want to donate as door prizes, it would be
most appreciated. I'll be wearing my yellow GCARC staff tee shirt that
Bill, NJ2S provided a couple of years ago in order to stand out in the
crowd although it's going to be a little tight on me, hi, hi!. Maybe others
can do the same.

I will be heading up the hamfest this year so if any issues arise that
requires immediate attention, please contact me. My cell is 609 221
0114and I will be onsite both Saturday evening and all day Sunday.

In closing, thanks for your usual level of support to the GCARC and let's
top last years attendance and have a great time!
