[GCARC] The new clubhouse successfully moved into it's permanent position today!

Good news! Bill N2VIL asked if I could send out a quick note to our club members to share the good news ....  our new clubhouse was successfully moved today to its permanent location, which is on the footprint of the old clubhouse that this new clubhouse replaces. 
With little advance notice, Bill NJ2S and Ray W2RM were able to secure the services of someone with a large enough truck Friday morning that could complete the move, and made it happen. As Bill N2VIL has reported, this was not our first attempt at moving the trailer.  In a previous attempt, the ground was damp after a rain, and a lesser vehicule could not get sufficient traction.  More recently, a tracked vehicule attempt had failed, not due to traction, but for safety reasons when that lesser vehicule was having stability issues handling the mass of the load it was attempting to move.  Well, this time the vehicule they lined up was absoultely a beast monster and the driver had no trouble at all moving the load and positioning where directed on our site. There'll be more details to share at the next club meeting.  What's the old saying, "third time's the charm"?  
So now what?
Look for follow-up emails from Bill concerning next steps for the upcomming week, to include asking for your help in getting the trailer back up onto cynder blocks, and leveled again, plus some other things.  If you have helped him before, I'm sure he would welcome your help with this again.  Even if you have not helped before, but might be able to from time to time going forward, please contact Bill N2VIL direct to let him know you would like to be contacted to help out wherever you can.
Anyway, just wanted to get this short message out to all at Bill's request, to share the good news of this milestone event in the transition to our operations for our new GCARC clubhouse.
