Just a reminder!
We're trying a new event for this year! GCARC family picnic, noon-4pm, Saturday - tomorrow! 
(all weather event - we have the riverfront pavilion reserved!)

We'll get the charcoal going around the start time, with food served from around 12:30 until about 3. But stop on by anytime - take a stroll along the Delaware, visit the James and Ann Whitall House, check out the remnants of the original Fort Mercer, watch the airplanes come and go from Philly International, meet your fellow club members and their families, and more!

As for the picnic, items we have:
riverfront pavilion rental,
charcoal, hot dogs, burgers, 
buns, catsup, mustard, 
plates, plastic silverware, 
bottled water, canned soda (park rules: non-alcoholic),

If you would like, you can bring a little something extra to share with others, helping to keep the costs down.
Ideas: bags of chips, pretzels, salads, deserts (note: I've already been told by Adan that he's bringing Water Ice! Oh Yea!)

Check your maps/GPS. Basic directions from down-town Woodbury is to turn at the Hospital onto Red Bank Avenue, then follow that to Hessian Avenue where you will turn left onto Hessian Avenue and take that all the way out to the park.  Right after you drive through the open chain link gates into the park, turn left to the pavilion parking.  It is a gentle walk on the winding sidewalk from the parking area towards the riverfront where our pavilion is located (it is the far one of the two there).  So, if you have something heavy to carry to the pavilion, consider asking a younger club member to help haul it for you from the car, or maybe consider a pull wagon.
