Dear W2RM,

Another month and another super station is added to the RHR network. While
sitting at the RNO airport writing this newsletter still soaking in the
station of W7RN. Tom K5RC exceeded our expectations in the station he and
his crew engineered along with extremely generous hospitality, truly a
positive weekend.

On the air!

W2RE, WW2DX and WW1X all met up at the home QTH of Contest Hall of Fame
inductee Tom K5RC in Virginia City, NV. Careful planning and coordination
between Tom and RHR we had successfully shipped all necessary equipment to
the station ahead of time. The RHR crew arrived and quickly started
integrating and setting up all the infrastructure to incorporate this super
station into our already amazing network. WIth the addition of W7RN we now
have a dominating presence on both coasts as well as Europe.

3 over 3 on 80m

One of the most unique qualities of the station is the amazing rotating
stack of Optibeam OB3-80's at 175 and 80. The immediate drop offs in from
this QTH really play to the advantage of the stack. The monstrous size of
the 80m Yagi's make the 6/6/6/6 15m stacks look like 6m yagi's.

Remote Ham Radio Summit WARC

Optibeam OB4030 + Bencher Skylark 12/17

Before the trip to Nevada, W2RE and WW2DX installed new WARC yagi's at the
Summit contest station. Top of the tower is a Bencher Skylark with 3
elements on 17m and 4 elements on 12m at 100'. The Optibeam sites at 92'
with 2 elements on 30 and 2 elements on 40 on a single boom. Initial reports
from the users are "Exceptional".

Upgrades

Two new antennas for 6m and 2m from I0JXX have been installed and tested.
The site was amazing with only a 6m 1/4 wave vertical, now with this
flamethrower is will be endless fun. The 2m module is scheduled to be
installed in the site K3 shortly. With the station at 3000' ASL this site
should play very well into EU.

Installed

With last moths small issue where the old A3WS was "smoked" off the tower we
quickly replaced it with a new one with the 30m add on kit. So far even
though its a trapped design it seems to be playing very well from this QTH.
Plans are to install much better trap-less antennas when they become
available.

Our only goal at RemoteHamRadio is to simply provide the most realistic and
amazing operating experience in the world. We believe that providing
operators an "authentic" radio experience is the only way to do it right.
With currently five stations on our network we are continously looking to
add more world class stations to our network. If you are a station owner and
