>Hello everyone
>
>I wanted to ask for your assistance with the upcoming Winter Olympic Games
>to be held on January 24-26, in Cobb County. There is also one venue in
>Alpharetta. This is on a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday weekend. I have
>not received the schedule or information on how many communicators we will
>need, but I have been informed we will need approximately the same number
>as last year. We are looking for about 8 operators on Friday, 25
>operators on Saturday, and 15 operators on Sunday.
>
>The games are always fun to work and hams provide the only communications
>between venues and management, as well as with the nerve center (net
>control). I'm also looking for a net control station (possibly 2 if we
>have the staff to do so), so if any of you are interested let me know. In
>addition to working with hams, the 'nerve center' station also helps
>coordinate medical communications to facilitate the flow of communications.
>
>If anyone wants more information, please call or write me at any
>time. This is always a very rewarding event to volunteer for, and one ham
>radio operators shine in doing.
>
>Thanks for your support, and I really look forward to hearing from you!
