[FreeBay] TI laptop giveaway (1)

I have a TI laptop, Travelmate 4000E, 486 WINSX/25MHZ Color.

It seems to be in exactly the same condx as when I bought it (used). 
Battery pack was dead, but the PC will run OK if you remove the battery
pack.  With it installed, you can't charge it and the PC ever boots
unless the batter is removed.  I priced a replacement battery at about
$70 - but I didn't buy one since I used it at home.

It has DOS installed and dbase 5.0 (DOS) which I was just using to dupe
check and log contest entries.  I should clear the disk, but too much
bother.

The display works but it is very dim - nothing I could do would make it
more than barely readable.  It was that way when I got it.

I found the best way to use it for what I was doing was attach a separate
CRT and keyboard - didn't take up much space and you could read the
screen!

It has parallel, serial, video (CRT) and PS-2 keyboard ports.  Also has a
removable mouse which attaches to a quickport on the side.

If anyone wants it, I'll ship it to you.  Don't know what the shipping
will be, but would prefer to ship via USPS cheapest way.  UPS would
probably cost $15 or more to ship.  I'll ship it anyway you like since
you're paying the shipping.
