      A reminder to all who can help at this year's March Of Dimes "MARCH FOR BABIES" Walk-A-Thon. 
 
      The walk is this Saturday in St. Lucie West at the dual college campus of IRSC and FAU on California Blvd. The campus is East of the Met's Stadium just north of University Drive. The walkers leave at 8:30 am. We meet at 7:30 am. The walk is usually done between 10:30 am. and 11:00 am. We can accommodate any amateur needing to start later or leave earlier. The local Amateur Radio community has helped provide communications support to the March Of Dimes walk for many years. I hope we can continue our support this year. There are at least two others amateur events that morning, so it will be urgent to have the support of other Hams, as many of our regulars for this walk will be elsewhere that morning.
 
      We will use simplex 146.550 MHz during the walk, but for talk-in we can use St. Lucie County's EOC repeaters of 147.015 MHz and 147.240 MHz. Later during the walk those repeaters will not be available as they will be used for the Red Cross Shelter Drill.
 
      Thank you in advance for your support this year. I look forward to seeing everyone at the event, as this is one of the only or few public service events in which we local Hams participate.
