Thanks for the info Joe and Rachel and I are sorry to hear about Ladd and
Mary's passing.
For those who did not know Ladd, he was very active in packet radio over the
years and
was also a tremendous help in the early years of the Treasure Coast Weather
Network.
Ladd also had been secretary of the St Lucie Repeater Association for many
years and
very active in other groups as well. It was a pleasure to work with and
learn from Ladd.
Mary mentioned to me one day when I was visiting them a number of years ago
that if it
was not for all of us who kept Ladd busy in the hobby of amateur radio, his
retirement years
may have been completely different and she was very happy that we all kept
him busy.
73 Ladd and Mary; it has been a pleasure and a privilege to have known you
both....

It was with sadness that I learned of the passing of Ladd Sajor, W at KGV, at
this evening's VE session in Ft. Pierce.
As many of you know, he had been residing in PSL with his wife at the
Brighton Gardens Community with his wife Mary. As I understand it, Mary
died 2 weeks earlier.
This is the Obituary from the Palm Beach Post of Thursday 12th, 2009.
Sajor, Ladislaw Z., 93, of Port St. Lucie, died Tuesday. Neptune Society,
Pompano Beach.
I know that those of us who have been in this hobby for awhile will Miss
Laddie. He has been active in Ham radio since at least 1934.
Ladd was definitively one of the highlights of Treasure Coast Ham Radio. An
outstanding member of the Ft. Pierce Amateur Radio Club, The Martin County
Amateur Radio Club, and The Port St. Lucie Amateur Radio Club. Not to
mention New York University and the Westchester County clubs in his younger
days..
May he and Mary rest in peace....
