Here is what you've been asking for.
If you sign up on the list you will learn how to set up your packet
system to use with wl2k.
WL2K FOR DUMMIES
For neophytes who want to learn how to use WL2K but may feel 'digitally
challenged' it is possible to experience WL2K E-mail Over Ham Radio without
a data terminal (TNC) or a radio!
The Yahoo Group
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/LOADING_WL2K_USER_PROGRAMS/
moderated by WL2K PMBO 'bud' Thompson N0IA in Deltona, FL will lead you
through loading all the programs necessary to experience WL2K e-mail over
Ham Radio without purchasing anything new like a TNC or compatible radio!
All that is required is a Windows computer on the Internet and a valid Ham
Radio License. You will work through several assignments at your own pace
and can then determine if you want to get more involved with a data terminal
and compatible radio over the ham waves!
