[FPARC] MINUTES OF AUGUST MEETING

                       FORT PIERCE AMATEUR RADIO CLUB - MINUTES -  8/10/2005

      The regular monthly meeting of the Fort Pierce Amateur Radio Club was 
chaired by  President, Art Lindell, W4ZEF.  Attendance was 19. All attending 
are members.

      MINUTES: The minutes of the July meeting were approved as distributed, 
after motion by Bill, N4XEO, seconded by Joe, K1VAO.

      TREASURY: Carl, KF4KCI, said no report this month, but the treasury 
remains the same as last month, other than a new membership, Newt Young, KD4RS.

      President Art, W4ZEF, asked for business other than Hamfest concerns. 
He said we will put off most other business to address Hamfest concerns.

      Bill, N4XEO, asked if there are more club computers available. Joe, 
KD4BTD, and Dave, WA4NGR, said there are probably still a few in storage. Art, 
said that Bill has need for some computers for the packet backbone system and 
there are more members that want some. Dave said that the club can send a letter 
of request to IRCC for additional surplus computers. We agreed to do that.

      Art, W4ZEF, said that Dock, N4HYK, has a Yaesu rotor, that Art is 
interested in for the club tower trailer. Art said Dock will sell it to the club 
for whatever the club will pay. After discussion, the club agreed to pay Dock 
$100.

      HAMFEST:  The remainder of the meeting concerned the upcoming Hamfest.
