Hi All
Today the Fort Pierce FPAC switch was moved to the EOC. Right now there are
only two ports on it and it IS working.
At this time forwarding is taking place on 145.530 since the only other
port is on 220 to get to the south. I'll be adding the 440 port to link
with Vero by the weekend I hope. Once we get antennas in place on the tower
I'll be able to get the bbs forwarding off of 145.530 and onto the bbs
forwarding port. Until then please excuse the "must do!!"
This is the first steps in getting the Winlink setup working. I don't know
if I'll have time to get it all done before the hurricane season gets here
or not. There is a LOT of things that needs to be worked on to get this done.
One thing that you can do is get a copy of Airmail. Just do a google search
I don't have the url right now.
Airmail is one of the programs that we are going to have to learn to
support the "email over radio" to support the EOC. If you have a kantronics
tnc you can get it going and use it on the LAN pier to pier using the switch.
Enough for now and lets see what questions come up!!!
Think about it .....
A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?
