[FPARC] Winlink/Telnet/FPAC demo 10/20/04

Is anyone going to make the meeting???? I haven't heard from anyone. Please 
drop a note to the list so we can get a idea on how many are going to make it!!


I just wanted to invite you to the rescheduled demo at the St. Lucie EOC 
next Wednesday. Fell free to bring a guest or two to the meeting.
The meeting starts at 7:30 promptly. We will need all the time we have as 
we are going to try and cover the full gambit of EMCOMMS in the demo.

If you don't know what EMCOMMs are then this is the meeting that you MUST 
make.
It has to do with what we are about in a emergency with supporting our 
agencies in the county.


This was going to be held at the August meeting but we had other plans come 
up with the storms so we had to cancel it.

We will be covering a LOT of information so if you would like to record it 
feel free to. As a matter of fact if someone would like to play camera 
operator and would like to bring a video camera and record the whole demo 
please let me know and I'll work with you on getting it set up. I can bring 
my camera tripod but my camera doesn't work. I just found this out when I 
had the thought of recording the demo so we can all have a copy.

Any questions just ask!!!


Also with the 147.345 repeater being down we are going to move the Fort 
Pierce ARC Tuesday night net to the 147.240 repeater until we can get the 
repeater back on the air. It will be November before we can even get on the 
list to get a tower climb to replace both the 2 meter and 440 antennas. I 
just figured I'd put this out in this message since I'm sending it to both 
groups.
