From skysho at comcast.net Tue Oct 7 09:14:28 2014 From: skysho at comcast.net (Bryant) Date: Tue, 7 Oct 2014 06:14:28 -0700 Subject: [FoxHunt] KN2C Doppler DDF2020T Message-ID: <000001cfe230$a0ad4010$e207c030$@comcast.net> Looking for some guidance on this unit I just purchased. Everything seems to be working fine except one issue, the vector lines are not showing up. I checked with the suppliers but the fellow just refers me back to the instruction sheets so I doubt he's ever used the unit himself. So here is a rundown of how my rig is setup. I'm using a Yaesu FT-90 coupled to the Doppler unit. The antennas are place on the roof of my truck and cabled to the Doppler unit, the GPS (purchased from KN2C) is connected, and so is the computer. I run the Navi DF2020 software along with Google Earth, followed the instructions linking those two programs together. When I'm driving and hear the transmission I press the space bar and my current location is plotted on the map, what is missing is the red vector line. I'm moving (that was the first suggestion from KN2C) and traveling 10-35 mph. The Navi app is displaying grid coordinates and bearing are changing. The settings on Navi are the default colors, the setting for POS is GPS and the Bearing is DF. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Google it and read how to find and use it. That is likely the cause. The people at KN2C know about this and should have told you about it. -----Original Message----- From: FoxHunt [mailto:foxhunt-bounces at mailman.qth.net] On Behalf Of Bryant Sent: Tuesday, October 07, 2014 6:14 AM To: foxhunt at mailman.qth.net Subject: [FoxHunt] KN2C Doppler DDF2020T Looking for some guidance on this unit I just purchased.
