Nice to see some messages on this - Greetings from across the water!
Does anyone have any experience with OAR 320 direction finders? I was given
four display units and 3 antennas (lucky me)!
They are complete, but one i have powered up so far emitted a bit of smoke!!
it turned out only to be a tant cap gone short. I have some limited info on
the units, but I would love to get some more detailed info, especially about
the synthersizer they use, as i don't think it will lock.
The versions I have are 320ED (which is VHF) and 335 which is a UHF version.
Any information would be appreciated. If any one wants some pictures, please
let me know.
Regards, Rich G8ZHA
