Here are the results from the fox hunt on Sunday, 10/12/2008.

Ten Little Foxes Hunt
First Place Team: Jeremy Lamb, KC9KGJ, and Cassie Lee, KC9KZG, 8 found
Second Place Team: Mike Wright, KF9NP, and Ray Robinson, K9ZRL, 8 found
Third Place Team: Ben Fisher, K9BF, and Mark Joseph, KC9DUU, 7 found

First and second place were actually a tie with the hunters finding the same
number
and checking in at the same time. The teams agreed to break the tie with a
coin toss.

One of the Ten Little Foxes, MO, is missing. None of the hunters found it.
If you find it pulsing on and off on 146.565 MHz with a call sign of WD9EYB
please return it to Jim Osburn, 2901 Ohio Blvd., Suite 250, Terre Haute, IN
47803.

KT9E Foxes Hunt
First Place Team: Jeremy Lamb, KC9KGJ, and Cassie Lee, KC9KZG, 3 found.
Second Place Team: Ben Fisher, K9BF, and Mark Joseph, KC9DUU, 3 found
Third Place Team: Jesse Risley, K9JLR, and Joe Rutkiewicz, KC9LEA, 2 found.

The hunters suggested that more time be given to the afternoon hunt as it
seemed to be difficult. Next year the hunt will either be easier or more
time
will be given.

For finishing first in both hunts Jeremy Lamb, KC9KGJ, and Cassie Lee,
KC9KZG,
were awarded the Eastside Outdoor Ham Club traveling trophy for being the
best
hunters of the day.

Congratulations to the winners and all hunters who participated.

Not only was it a great day for a fox hunt but it was a great day for a
picnic.
We had about 25 people attend including the hunters.
I think everyone had an enjoyable time. I know I did.

Stay tuned to the Eastside Outdoor Ham Club list server and web page
for more information on upcoming hunts and other EOHC activities.
