[FoxHunt] Mount Wilson hunts

 Anyone here remember the ( Los Angeles ) Mt. Wilson T-hunts of the 1970's ?
I recall they were a lot of fun, largely due to how they were organized, and
the rules employed. I'm writing a short article about them, as an example
for clubs about how to start up successful and entertaining T-hunts, but I'm
not sure I recall all the rules and all the reasons why they were so
successful...

 I'm seeking others who recall these hunts, to compare notes, in case I have
forgotten something worthwhile. I suspect a lot of hunts suffer from lack of
sufficient forethought about how to organize and run them, I certainly
recall the
Mt. Wilson hunts were a lot of fun and very appealing to newcomers.

 I'll provide a copy of the first draft, presently 5 pages, for critique and
suggestions, to those who respond.
