[FoxHunt] WinDopp 1.2 beta

Greetings all...

 For those familiar with the WinDopp DF display program, I have recently
created a new version with 4 more COM ports, ( COM1 thru COM8 ) to allow use
with USB adapters on some of the newer laptops.

 This was done at the request of two PicoDopp users, since many of the newer
laptops do not offer RS232 ports, and the available USB ports "map out" to
COM5 or higher. One user has reported success with the new program, the
other has not yet provided any feedback.

 I can provide "beta" versions to users who desire it, and who respond via
e-mail directly to me : pelican2 at silcom.com

 If the feedback looks good from beta users, I will upgrade the present
website download of WinDopp, which is available here :

( this webpage presently provides the old "pre-beta" version )

 Install instructions will be provided to those who respond to this
e-mail announcement.

 Again, this is mostly of interest to folks who cannot use COM
ports 1 thru 4 for a DF input, since these ports are already
available in the present version of WinDopp.
