Just a reminder that this 2M event will be taking place this weekend on
Saturday, July 16. Everyone should plan on being at McGill Campground by
10:30 AM and we will carpool from there to near the starting location.
Note that unless you have a campsite permit, you will need to park
outside the gate to McGill.
Starts will begin about 11:00 AM with starts spaced 5 minutes apart per
a normal championship event. Once everyone has started, the start
location will disappear and no further starts will be allowed. I am
putting a 3 hour time limit on this event and control/transmitter pickup
will begin no later than 3:00PM.
I'll have the usual ARDF class structure input into the computer if you
choose to find less than all five transmitters. The classes and
transmitters to find are:
M21 category shall search all five transmitters.
M19 category shall not be scored for transmitter No. 3 (MOS)
M40 category shall not be scored for transmitter No. 5 (MO5)
M50 category shall not be scored for transmitter No. 2 (MOI)
M60 category shall not be scored for two transmitters defined by the
siting referee.
W19 category shall not be scored for transmitter No. 2 (MOI)
W21 category shall not be scored for transmitter No. 4 (MOH)
W35 category shall not be scored for transmitter No. 1 (MOE)
W50 category shall not be scored for two transmitters defined by the
siting referee.
Maps will be premarked with the start circle (750m) and finish circle
(400m.)
