Greetings, all...
After considerable delays, I have finally completed the creation of the
NorthUp electronic compass, for use with DF units that generate Agrello DF
RS232 messages :

This compass "stabilizes" the DF bearing, by recieving Agrello RS232
messages expressed in relative degrees. ( vehicle heading = 000 ) The
Agrello DF bearing is then added to the compass heading, and re-transmitted
( RS232 ) as another Agrello DF message, with bearings expressed in magnetic
degrees. ( magnetic north = 000 degrees )
As a result, changes of vehicle heading do not affect the DF display... the
12 o'clock position of the DF display represents magnetic north, instead of
the vehicle's present heading. This is VERY useful with the ( free ) IBM and
PDA display programs available on my website.

Thanks for the bandwidth...
