My VK3YNG Mk4 sniffer arrived from Australia today and is it ever
neat. I tried it with stereo earphones and I think it will do
really great as a mid course receiver. It has a tone of signal
strength in one ear and ID and transmitter audio in the other. So
you can drive and not be watching the s-meter. I tried it by
setting it on the table with a 5/8 ant and walked around with a
handheld. Even with the antennas touching, it didnt saturate or
bleed through. A great design.
