John,

Hope you have good luck in getting ARDF started in your area. If you have
any questions there is always someone on this listserver that can help.
I have been active with T-Hunting for over12 years and have done both car
and ARDF hunts.
ARDF has become the form of T-Hunting that I enjoy the most. I have always
enjoyed the outdoors and ARDF lets me enjoy both at the same time.
We have a group of ham's in Albuquerque that is active in both car hunting
and ARDF type hunting.

On Saturday, June 21, 2003 the Daytona Beach Amateur Radio Association will
sponsor a hidden transmitter hunt
following the IARU rules. To the best of our belief this will be the first
time this type hunt has been held in Florida.
Five transmitters transmitting for one minute each and running in sequence.
The hunt registration will be at 3:30 PM and the hunt will start at 4:00 PM.
Hunters will start five minutes apart and hunt on foot for the transmitters.
Location, Flagler Beach, about 15 north of Ormond Beach, Florida
No charge for admission, cookout with hot dogs and drinks (free) after the
hunt.
If anyone will be in this area on June 21st, and would like to enter this
hunt, please reply directly to me, John Munsey at
[email protected] and I will forward details and directions.
