Jacques -
There are none that I know of... yet... built in North
America, but there are a number of the Ron Graham VK4BRG
2m receivers in use. Ron gives good service by mail order.
He sells a dual-conversion AM receiver with audio S-meter
using the MC3362 chip (that works fine of FM signals using
slope detection.)

A new entry is Bryan Ackerly VK3YNG's update to the
Bruce Paterson VK3TJN "Ultra Sniffer". These are
microprocessor controlled and offer all sort of fancy
features. Last I heard they should be ready for
distribution in the very near future. The user manual
is available online at:

or you can contact Bryan at: [email protected]
For 80m, I am just finishing up an article for QST on a
simple receiver using readily-available parts. They aren't
hard to build using "ugly construction", and boards will
be available from FAR Circuits. I may make up some more
"pre-publication evaluation" kits - let me know if you
want more information.
Some time ago I promised to send you some of the circuits and
articles in my collection. Well, I haven't found the folder yet,
though I did look for it. But I did find a couple schematics that
I can send you.... if I can find them again...
