I have done a search for that and it seems nobody manufactures an assembled
of kit version of an active attenuator. Our club has been giving serious
thought to a project of building them either as a kit or assembled. I have
one that I built from scratch a couple of years ago and I would not be
caught without it. The only problem is if you forget to turn it off the
battery is dead the next time you use it. To remedy that problem I
designed a circuit that will turn the unit off after two minutes. There is
a button on the front that starts it running. We need to lay out a small
pc board and find a source of pc boards cheap enough to make it
worthwhile. This will be a not for profit venture and if we need to get
about 20 interested parties.
I will keep the list advised the progress.
