Time is getting short to get in on the Second USA ARDF Championships, which
will be April 19-21 at Franklin Roosevelt State Park near Pine Mountain,
Georgia. Pine Mountain is about 70 miles southwest of the Atlanta airport.
Entrants from anywhere in the USA and the world are welcome.
No matter what your level of skill or experience at on-foot foxhunting, this
event is for you. Experts will be vying for positions on Team USA as it
travels to Slovakia for the World Championships later this year. Beginners
will be picking up the best radio-orienteering techniques from these experts
and learning how to put on similar events in their home towns.
The official deadline to register for the national championships is April 6,
but Georgia Orienteering Club members ask you to let them know that you're
coming by March 29, so they can plan for the picnic supper on Friday and the
spaghetti dinner on Saturday.
