I am trying a loaned 747GX transceiver.

I have noted a birdie at 19984.6khz  on 160, and  burbles on 3562.2, 3654.7,
323747.2., 3840.0 khz.  on 80,.
7030, 7090,  71557khz. on 40.

This was on a dummy load and the ext. loudspeaker disconnected as there was
a little rf. pickup of very strong signals.

Is this to be expected on older solid state rigs with synthesisers ?

My older FR101rxs with preselectors are clean on 160 and 80.
