Good morning list....

I think I am having a little problem with the display dimmer on my FT980...
In the dim position only, the display and meter lamps flash up to full
strength and then back down to normal just for a second... sort of like a
flourescent light starting in cold weather..
only happens once in a while...
Frequency stability, audio, and all other functions are not effected...
I think the dim switch may just need a little spritz of contact cleaner...
this doesn't happen when the switch is in the full brightness position...
anybody else experience this ??
