Ken, and others interested,

INRAD, http://www.qth.com/inrad/ , still sells the WARC Band kits, for
$45.00. This is less that the guy on EBay wants. He is apparently buying
them from INRAD, and selling them on EBay to unsuspecting souls that don't
realize they can get them from INRAD.

I installed a kit in my own FT-101E, and it works fine. All the kit
consists of is a 12 meter crystal to replace the 11 meter crystal,
directions to utilize the unused crystal socket and a relay to switch
between 15 and 17 meters, and instructions to enable trannsmit on the
WWV/JJY (30 meters)bandswitch position. Very straightforward, but the wiring
on the bandswitch for 30 meters was a little tedious. FT-101F should be
exactly the same, except that the 12 meter crystal is installed in the AUX
slot.

73 and good luck.
