Jerry,
   I should have read the manual sooner. I just found out that the mute
plug must be shorted for receive. Got all kinds of receive now. I can
still hear the tones from the counter that will have to be repaired and
AM-N doesn't work but at least I'm getting somewhere. Also, The
calibrator still doesn't work in either 25 or 100 so it will need
attention too. Boy, sounds like 40 is jumping. Got some broadcast from
Japan in there too.
