Thanx everybody for all the information regarding the YO100 - FT101B
modification.
Everything I read on the list makes sense and I will keep the list posted on
the result.
My main confusion resulted from reading several sources of the
modification...
The operating manual for the FT101B gives virtually zero information, while
the service manual and the manual for the YO100 give detailed but different
information on the same mod...
The one consistancy seems to be the type of cable to use.
According to all written sources,  5D2V seems to be the cable recommended...
although several other types of cable have been suggested by people on the
list.
5D2V seems to be RG62 and that is what I will try...again verified by the
list as my best option.
Also  confusion abounds on the value of the capacitor, 2 - 3 - 10 pf are the
values suggested in written material...
Again thanx for the info, the people on this list are typically helpful and
it is appreciated.
