Excellent question!!!! I was looking at the spec's for the 6JS6C, and the 
6LB6 (click here; http://frank.nostalgiaair.org/sheets6.html )
Jerry is this a usable tube for the 101's or is there a problem.
One of my tube substitution links lists the 6LB6 as a substitute.
$28.95 for the 6LB6, vis-a-vis $45.00 for the 6JS6C.
