[Fox_Tango] FT-101E Low output on 20 only

I have this strange thing happening on 20 only on my FT-101E - I have generally low output on 20, 15, and 10, about 50W, but on 20 only, as I advance the "Carrier" control while transmitting, output rises to about 50W at 200ma plate current, then falls to 10 watts or so, then plate current continues to increase (up above the danger level) as the power increases from 10 to 15W or so. (I only do this for a few secs.) 20 is the only band the 101E does this on. My finals are near-gone, although I have full output on 40 and 80, and about 50W on 15 and 10.

Any ideas about which component is acting up? Or is this just likely to be a side effect of nearly-fried finals? I'm trying to keep the 101E going long enough to get WAS and DXCC - 5 states and 72 countries to go! Trying for DXCC on 80 is not going to be much fun :-(
