  No Mike,  I have never had the YC-601.  My FR-101 has the digital =
display, so I never felt that I needed another one.  My FR-101D is a =
later one with red LEDs.  The schematic/manual refers to tubes, and =
pictures of the FR-101D show a different kind of display than what mine =
has.  Finding nixies may be an adventure.  I remember seeing them on =
some test equipment back in the 80's.  I saw a website about building a =

as a link to a list of possible Nixie sources.  Doing a search for =
"Nixie tubes" on www.dogpile.com returned some sites that might be =

    Rick over the week-end I have bought a YC-601 at a hamfest to add to =
my Yaesu Twins. The first number in the display has a bad tube in it.
    Do you have the Yaesu YC-601 Display on your Yaesu set-up ? I looked =
in the yaesu manual and the display number is a LD-8062 nixie tube. =
Would you happen to know of someone that sells this type of tube ?
