I have done it some years ago.  Go as smoothly as you can one at a time. 
I took out the front panel from the radio. Take care with the backup 
battery, you still have that battery power powering the back up 
circuitry! There is one of the lamps that is very difficult to deal 
with, use a low wattage and a very small tipped soldering iron ( I used 
a small 12 watts Weller) .  And take your time doing it.  The big deal 
is to unsolder correctly.  I used a desoldering tool and desoldering 
braid.
