I have for sale a Yaesu FT100D HF/6m/2m/70cm all mode mobile sized radio
that does 100 watts on HF and 6 meters, 50 watts on 2 meters, and 20 watts
on 70cm. It is a 2003 serial number radio so it is one of the last ones
made, and has the SWR/Grounding mod done at the factory. It receives fine
and puts out full power on all bands. The internal keyer works fine, and it
gets good audio reports on SSB. It has had the transmit mod done and will
transmit on 60 meters and works fine for me there.

Now here is the issue with it-it worked fine at the previous owner's QTH.
It seems to have some RF issues with my QTH and some other locations. When
I got it home and keyed it up on SSB it would show full power out without
any audio going into the mic on 10m, 12m, 17m, 3om, and 80m. It was fine on
the other bands, including on 2m and 70cm, and I made some QSOs in the
September VHF contest on it. It must be an RF issue as when I hooked it to
a dummy load the problem went away and it acted normal on all bands.
Wrapping the coax around a ring torrid cured the problem on 10m and 80m but
it remained on the other bands. I tried it in my car with a 17m
hamstick-same problem. Tried it at a friend's QTH with a 6m/10m dualband
dipole, no problems on 6m, same problem on 10 meter, just like my QTH.

So that is the story behind it. It works fine on several bands. It may or
may not have this RF issue at your QTH. It comes with a hand mic and the
power cord, and is in pretty good condition physically. Since I don't know
how it will behave at your QTH, there are no returns on this, but it is
receiving fine and putting out full power. These are nice radios overall
and have great receivers in them.

So the price is $333 shipped in the US. I can take paypal/check/MO.
