connection when the QSK-capable T/R line is keyed by the transceiver's 
amplifier keying line. As a bonus, this unit's Solid State keying design 
provides a separate amplifier keying connector that can handle 500 Vdc 
at 8 A! In other words, Front End Savers double as an amplifier keying 
interface, while preventing transmitted RF energy on the receive antenna 
from getting back into the transceiver. The high-speed relay disconnects 
the receive antenna and grounds the unprotected RX ANT INPUT when 
transmitting."
