I purchased fm an estate several yrs ago a Yaesu FT-847 (S/N 8K151220) & FC-20 Antenna Tuner.  Since I already hv an 847, these are excess to my needs.  The FT-847 covers 160 thru 6m at 100W out & 2m & 70cm at 50 watts out.  The FC-20 covers 160 thru 6m & expands the swr matching range.  The 847 also includes cross-band full duplex satellite coverage.  The SK's estate fm whom I purchased it bought it new in 4/99 & in 10/99 he sent it to Yaesu to hv the latest mods at that time installed including reducing the Pout spike.  

Since I've never used this rig (don't hv antennas up yet), I tested the Pout on all bands & rcvr sensitivity using a HP sig gen.  Pout is per specs on all bands except 70 cm which is abt 45W instead of 50W (the same as the other 847 that I hv).  Rcvr sensitivity on all bands is comparable to my other 847.   I enabled the satellite mode but didn't chk it out any further nor did I chk out the memory storage.  Therefore, this is guaranteed not to be DOA but otherwise is being purchased "as is" with no refunds.

The FT-847 includes both OPTIONAL Collins Mechanical Filters (YF-115C for CW & YF-115S-02 for SSB).  It also includes standard accessories such as MH-31 hand mic w/ scan buttons, DC pwr cable w/ fuses, original operating manual, Menu selection quick code sheet, block diagram & record of Yaesu mods. The 847 cabinet is abt a 7 out of 10 (looks like a piece of paper had bn taped to the top left rear side) & has only minor scratches.  I did notice the following issues when testing:

1.  The molex connector on the end of the DC cable has an intermittent if you bend the cable.  My other 847 cable is ok so it's not the connector on the 847 side.  
2.  The VFO/M push button lettering is kind of  worn.
3.  When in the Satellite mode, the labels for RX / TX / Track & N/R are missing off the front panel but the different colored lites behind them work ok. 

On the plus side, all 4 antenna connectors on the rear panel are N(f).  Fiftheen FT-847s SOLD on eBay w/i the past 2 months (after taking off new ones & ones not working that were for parts only) at an avg price of $930 & one used FC-20 SOLD for $152.50. 

The FC-20 includes the interconnecting control cable & a coax jumper between it & the 847.  The FC-20 also has three N(f) connectors.  Condition of cabinet is abt an 8 out of 10 & installation instructions are included.    

I prefer to sell both the 847 & FC-20 together but will split up if necessary.  Considering the Collins Mechanical Filter Options, I believe the FT-847 is competitively priced at $825 & the FC-20 at $125.  If purchased together, I will discount the price to  $900 total + insurance, packing & shipping fm 86323.  Pictures are available upon request & PayPal accepted.
