The main reason for this & subsequent emails is to inform you that my friend, Tom (K7NII) became a SK on March 1st at the age of 77. Tom lived in Queen Creek area of Phx & for the past yrs in Camp Verde, AZ. He had outstanding ham radio talents as well as built race cars which he also raced. I had the privilege of purchasing last year his 5m (16') solid dish w/ an exceptionally stable HB frame & very solid AZ/EL drives. Hopefully, I'll hv it on the air on 1296 EME later this year. It's a big project ahead of me. He's survived by his wife Judy who also was a ham & race car driver.

Much of Tom's ham radio & test equipment was geared to VHF & above but he has some xlnt HF equipment as well. Back in the early 1970's, he had one of the largest 2m EME arrays consisting of 16 HB yagis (I think they were 8 elements each) on a windmill tower in Cave Creek. If I remember correctly, Tom was the first 2m station in AZ on 2m EME. Tom also worked 10GHz tropo, rainscatter & some EME.

I've bn busy working w/ Judy to inventory, price & sell over 50 yrs of ham radio equipment & a garage full of tools which I'll be listing on various reflectors. Whenever available, items are being priced based on an average of recent (i.e., this year) eBay sales histories. Will be working to sell the big ticket items first so stay tuned for several postings. Hope first one will be tomorrow.

Obviously, pickup in Camp Verde is preferred at least for some of the big tools but I can also bring home to Chino Valley (just north of Prescott) items for you to pick up if that's easier. Shipping most items can be arranged & I accept PayPal.

Hope you will find the subsequent postings of interest.

Tnx & vy 73,
Bob, K6PF
