These poles are great for permanent and temporary antennas!

They are great for HF, VHF and UHF antennas!

 

Experiment in the back yard, go portable, use on Field Day, or for EMCOM and
even permanent installations, with or without guying depending on load.  The
sections are not tapered but have a fitting embedded in one end that slides
inside the next section which enhances their strength and usefulness!  I
regularly go up 30 ft for wire and lightweight 2 meter antennas without
guying.
