In the process of moving the shack from one side of the house to the other, I came across an interesting littleitem that I picked up years ago in a box of things I bought that another ham was cleaning out of his basement... Made by Glen Manufacturing, it's a Model 326-G. I had no idea what it was when I came across it the other day,so I looked it up on the internet. It's a VCO/VFO. According to the manual I downloaded, it covers from 7 to 50 mhz in four ranges. It has courseand fine tuning, with a digital readout and some of the settings and offsets are set with dip switches inside, alongwith a fine and course frequency pot on the front panel. I plugged it in to verify that the digital readout still work, and it does. That's all I did or can do. Appears to be ingood cosmetic condition, so I assume it MAY still work as it was designed, but can't promise. Anyhow... would make an interest thing to experiment with this winter, and if it works, even put it to work .... If anyone is interested, it is small enough to go in a little postal service priority mail box so it would cost abouteight dollars to mail. I'll send it to whoever is interested for an even $38. Even if it doesnt work, the parts and littlecabinet with the built in power supply would be worth that much. From what I can determine, they sold for about $150 back when they came out...
