I'm refurbing a Mosley Classic 33, getting ready to put it up in the air. The Classic uses a Type N connector to connect the coax to the driven element, and length of coax that slides into each side of theradiator element. Kind of like capacitive coupled radiator. What I'm wondering is, does anyone know how these pieces of coax are connected to the connector inside the insulated section betweenthe two halves of the radiating element? I'm think of replacing the Type N socket with a SO 239 so I dont have to scrounge up a Type Nmale for the coax run. I have an adaptable Type N connector which will reduce down to a VHF to 239 connector, but I dont want to do thatif I can avoid it.
