Hello Everyone, 

With reluctance, I am selling an especially nice Collins 75A-4 serial #683 that I thought I would keep forever. It is absolutely original and has never been "improved", modified or otherwise cobbled up. It even has the original power cord which is still in amazingly good condition and supple. Even the dial scale is original although it is yellowed. A new scale will be included (but you decide if you want to replace it). This 75A-4 is in excellent condition both cosmetically and functionally and the band pass, noise blanker and rejection tuning all work as they should. Most remarkable however, is that it has an exceptionally linear PTO providing frequency spread in the order of only 200~ from end to end (and in the middle too). The price is $1,000 and comes with a 3.1KHZ filter (though I have 6KHZ and 500~ Collins mechanical filters available separately should someone be interested in AM or CW use). The receiver can be seen in my station photo in QRZ. 

I would much prefer an in-person sale as opposed to one conducted through cyberspace (eBay, etc) as I would like the buyer to see the radio in person before buying as well as avoid the perils and hassle of shipping. I will be taking it to the Timonium (MD) hamfest on Saturday, March 26th (but not Sunday). Alternatively, you are welcome to come see it at my home in Ridgefield (western CT).
