[ForSale-Swap] FS: T Network Antenna Tuner Kit (a.k.a. The Ultimate Transmatch).

As initially designed McCoys tuner was coax to coax and the coax to open
wire balun came along later.

The trouble with most T's is insufficient C for 160 as they only use
240-250pf where 500 is needed to keep the efficiency high and not fry the
coil. Some even need more C on 80 depending on the antenna.

MFJ tuners were known for many years to catch on fire.

I built a T ages ago with 500pf/3.5kV Johnson/Cardwell 153-6 caps and a much
larger physical size 30uh roller coil than the Johnson/Multronics 229-203.
Its been on a shelf for about 30 years now as everything is coax fed and the
amps have been modified to tune into any reasonable SWR such as covering 3.5
to 4 MHz.

This "should" be able to be constructed into a PI matching antenna
"matcher"/"tuner".

I only mention this as the UT-2000, being a "T" network, does NOT work
with all equipment.

This ESPECIALLY the instance if one is trying to "match" a BC-610 to an
antenna system. The BC-610 WILL NOT work with a "T" matcher!

Consider that 250THs aren't cheap.
