Hello to the list,
I've recently had the opportunity to purchase a complete and mint
condition TS-820S station, and in anticipation of it's arrival, I must clear
out gear on the operating desk to make room for my new baby! All prices
include shipping CONUS, and all items will be professionally packed and
double boxed. Payment via PayPal is preferred.
Kenwood TS-520 - The granddaddy of the Kenwood Hybrid line, and this one is
in great shape. All controls have been carefully cleaned, and it has been
used with care by me. I am the second owner, the first owner barely used
it, and I have put about 10 hours on it. It's a great example of the 520.
Includes spiral bound operating manual and service manual along with a
non-stock hand mike. Asking $250.
Kenwood TS-520SE - A great radio, clean and fully operational other than the
meter lamps have been removed. CW filter installed, and one sensitive RX.
Full, clean output on TX. Asking $200.
Kenwood TS-820S - This radio has been carefully restored by me as I love the
820s. The bandswitch coupler has been replaced to ensure crisp operation.
All controls have been cleaned and lubed. The the hard to replace dial
lamps have been replaced with 100 degree viewing angle white LEDs. The DG-1
digital display has had all connectors cleaned and the troublesome through
board solder points have been cleaned, and reflowed with silver bearing
solder to ensure troublefree DG-1 operation. This is a great radio, and if
I didn't have the full station coming in, I wouldn't be selling it. I will
include copies of the service manual and operating manual. It does have the
optional CW filter installed. Asking $350.
Kenwood TS-530S - This radio was bought as a project sight unseen. It came
from a smoker, and is in rough shape. I kept it around as a parts rig, but
need to make room, and am selling it as a parts rig. It's functional state
is unknown, its dirty, and it smells of an ashtray. Asking $100.
Yaesu FT-101EE - This was another project radio, that I never got around
to. Cosmetically it is one of the cleanest 101EEs I've seen. Barely a
speck of dust inside, and the case shows little use. RX is great, but no
drive on TX. Looks like the driver tube is bad, but never got around to
working on it. Asking $150.
Yaesu FT-101ZD - A great radio, but just doesn't fit in my collection of
Kenwood Hybrids. This is the original model (i.e. MK0), and has the full
set of filters. Good, solid operation. Includes Yaesu handmike. Asking
$300.
