The time
has come where I am disposing most of my books that I have accumulated during
my electronics career and amateur radio.
The first
one is a hard back Second Edition "Fundamentals of Engineering Review"
by Merle C. Potter PhD. PE. This is a
complete review of all the material covered in the FE./EIT exam. The following is from the preface of the book
"This book was written to
provide a quick review for the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) - also known as
the Engineer-In Training (EIT) - Examination.
Other review books are either too detailed, with too much material
included, ot they simplistically present sample problems with no subject matter
review. We have attempted to present a
review, that includes the major equiations and the most important ideas and
concepts in each of the thirteen major subject areas covered by the exam. Undoubtedly, the material presented will not
cover everything. By far the majority of
questions will, however, be covered so that an effective review is possible"
The
separate attached soft cover practice exam is not included.
This book
does have a few notes and marks but they are sparse. Plastic tabs have been added to tabulate the
different sections (Math, Physics, Material, Chem, Economy, Electrical Theory,
Thermo, Statics, Dynamics, Mechanic, Fluid Mechanics, Computer Science, and
Systems Theory. There are approximately 345
pages. For further information the ISBN 0-9614760-2-8
is the reference number.
It is
priced at $5.00 plus postage. I will
send it at the media rate unless another shipping mode is requested. Only actual shipping charges will be added. Thanks for the read.
