Socrates turned up these nice aluminum boxes.
Each is 4.6" long (5.1" with flange on 1 end, 3" wide and 2" deep. Each 
contains a PC board with among other things a LM393N and a 2N3904 
transistor. Boxes are of .080" thick aluminum.
I have packed 11 of these in a flat rape priority mail box. There is still 
room for some of my famous Blivet $#!+.
