It's shack cleaning time, and one of the few items left that I just don't use anymore is my Yaesu 736. It's in perfect working order with all options. It has seen some use throughout the years but it is in good cosmetic shape since it has mostly lived mounted to a shelf in my 19" rack.
Some of the silver paint is missing from the desk mic, and the hand mic has a few nicks and dings. It's full output power on all bands and it's been run off of an external DC supply (the internal supply DOES work, it's just better to use an external supply for heat issues). There are a few nicks around the corners of the case from disassembly and cleaning over the years, and 2 case screws are missing. The operating manual is dog-eared, but I will include a CD-ROM with PDF versions of the manual, band installation unit manual, and service manuals.
Here are the specifics.
Yaesu FT-736R (2m/440)
-Optional 50MHz band module installed.
-Optional 220MHz band module installed.
-Optional tone unit installed for CTCSS.
-Optional voice synthesizer installed.
-Optional keyer installed.
-Optional CW filter installed.
-Optional MD-1 Desk Mic (Missing original cable, replacement included)
Now, the moment you've all been waiting for, the specifics!
I would like to get $1000 plus shipping for the package. I will not break it up.
I will accept PayPal, and I will entertain reasonable offers. I will negotiate trades for some specific radios (specifically FT-1000MP-series or late model/properly retrofitted FT-847s).
I will ship UPS ground, insured, and it will be well packed. I am open to other shipping options, but the package will be insured. I will calculate the shipping costs after I know who you are and where it is going, and if you wish I will provide you with the receipt. I don't believe in ripping people off for shipping.
I will ship internationally, at buyers expense. I am aware of the issues with international insurance, duties, etc and I will work with you.
I will happily answer any questions that I am able to, and I will provide pictures upon request if you promise not to mock my photography skills (or lack thereof).
Thanks for reading!
